Hey y'all! First off, congrats to Rachel Brumfield on winning the Gymshark giveaway! I want to try to do giveaways every now and then... what do you guys want to win?! (Tell me in the comments!) Thanks for coming back! Keep reading to find out why the title looks a little different.
9 Weeks Out

So, as you all know, I decided to hire a coach and that has already been super helpful! I love doing this stuff (count macros, make meal plans, create exercise routines, etc) for other people and even myself! But being on prep is just so much different. I need someone to hold me accountable and just take all of thinking out of it for me. All I have to do is wake up, look at my plans, and follow them to a T! If I follow those simple steps, results will shortly follow. At the time I hired my coach, I knew I wasn't feeling ready to compete in March. You know the saying "ask and you shall receive"? Yeah, well I asked and I definitely received. I sent her my most recent progress pictures and asked her to be completely honest with me and, thankfully, she was. We both agreed that I am not on the right track to walk on stage in March. Does that change anything though? NOPE! Just means I have an additional 3 weeks to really focus in on one show instead of two!
Diet:
With a new coach, comes.... NEW MEAL PLAN! I am absolutely loving my new meals! I didn't have a chance to go to the grocery until Wednesday evening so for the first few days of the week I had to continue the plan I had made for myself. I still get to eat teriyaki chicken if I want to but I am trying to be cautious with my sodium intake. Previously, I wasn't eating any form of salad. Now, I'm eating two salads a day and I never thought I'd say this but.... I LOVE them. In fact, I look forward to them! I feel like I'm eating such a variety of foods now! Cheat meals = NO MORE! (unfortunately) BUT, it will all be worth it in the end. Also, I couldn't tell ya the last time I didn't get my gallon in so I'm doing really well on that.

Training/Cardio:
I had some GOOD lifts this week! Not only did I get a new meal plan, but I got a new exercise strategy too! I had bigger delt pumps than ever before! And my hamstrings? They have NEVER been more sore. I love my new exercise plan as much as my new meal plan. It even includes a rest day! (what's that?????)
I did struggle with cardio this week. My new plan has me doing A TON of cardio and, as y'all know, I wasn't really doing much. As much as I enjoy being able to get my lifts in on my lunch break and having my evenings to myself, that's gonna have to end. It's just simply not enough time for me to get in a FULL workout and the amount of cardio I'm supposed to do. I am proud of myself, though, because on Saturday, I did an entire 35 minutes of cardio, burning over 400 calories, WITHOUT MY PHONE AKA WITHOUT MUSIC! I thought it was going to be terrible, but it actually felt great!

Supplementation:
Most of my supplementation is exactly the same. On some days, instead of taking l-carn in capsules, I drink my Bucked Up "Racked" BCAA's! These BCAA's are loaded with 1,000 mg of L-carnitine and 1,000 mg of acetyl L-carnitine meaning you will LITERALLY sweat your ass off! In my opinion, they are the best BCAA's on the market. Don't believe me? Try them out yourself! Use my code "Adrionna20" at checkout for 20% off.

Life:
For once, my life was actually kind of boring this week. I didn't really do a whole lot! So I'll just briefly recap everything I've talked about before.
I will soon be taking my first mid-term for my personal trainer course. I've been really enjoying that! I never cared to learn or study much in high school or what little bit of college I attended but learning about something you love already is so much better! I'm trying to take some of what I've learned so far and incorporate it into my every day life! So far, I've mostly just learned about posture and the different assessments to conduct with new clients.
Aria successfully went to her second day of pre-school without me there! It was "show and tell" day and I totally wish I could've been there. She took her Vampirina toy microphone and at home, she puts on one hell of a show with that thing. She really is quite the character. Ryan got mad playing a game (stupid Fortnite) and Aria came up to me and said "mommy, daddy said bullshit". I couldn't even be mad, though, because a) she whispered bs so I mean she knew she wasn't supposed to say that and b) she tattled on daddy HAHAHA! Y'all should feel bad for him; he's gotta long life left to live with the two of us.
On Thursday we had a meeting at our wedding venue and our save the dates came in last week! Now I'm just waiting on my address stamp to come in so I can get them all sent out. I can't believe in just over 7 months I'll be married to my high school sweetheart <3 We spent Saturday evening playing trivia at a charity event hosted by the fire department. I got my friends to come with the free beer and food haha. No worries, I only drank water! OH and did I mention we placed 54 out of 56 teams hahaha. I never claimed to be good at trivia; I just like to support good causes!

So get this. I was so ready to meal prep Sunday. I had all my containers cleaned and ready to go, went to the grocery, had my veggies cut up.... and then I couldn't find my damn scale. I was so devastated. Luckily, I had enough food leftover from last week that was already portioned out to use Monday. UNluckily, I work until 9 Monday which means I'll be up so late making everything I couldn't make Sunday evening. I did upgrade though! Now I have a fancy digital scale instead of an old-fashioned "squint my eyes to read the numbers" scale haha.
My goal this week is going to be cardio, once again. I was able to get myself to do my 15-20 min daily but now, attempting 35 minutes per session, is a little bit more challenging. I, so badly, want to be meat my physique from my last competition. I cannot let that girl beat me. So it's time to dial in!
Please subsribe, like, and share and be sure to comment below whatcha think or any questions! Also, I would really love feedback on what other topics y'all would be interested in me blogging about! I have some ideas, but I want to know what you guys think. See ya next week!
