BIKINI PREP | 7 & 10 WEEKS OUT

7 & 10 Weeks Out




With the events of last week, it was really hard for me to get going this week. I started to wonder if I should have gotten my brain checked out after my wreck because I have been all over the place. That's why I forgot to take real progress pictures this week and only have screenshots from my recorded posing practice! GREAT NEWS: I got my Shoe Fairy Foxy heels in the mail Thursday and yesterday got to pick up my new suit and posing suit from Suits by Amy (discount code: "Addi10" for 10% off a purchase!). I'm trying to decide if I show off my gorgeous new suit or save it for peak week? Hmmm! While I was there, we recorded some informative videos. You'll have to check her out on Youtube! (I'll post a link once the videos are uploaded.) Also, I decided that trying to coach myself through this process is simply exhausting so I hired my biggest, fitspo Ashlyn Brown (@ab_bikinifit), to do that for me!





Diet:


Thank you Valentine's Day for ruining my good streak! I really wanted to meal prep Sunday but Monday I don't go in to work until noon so it's not a big deal if I save it for Monday morning. And that's what I did this week. I made a whole bunch of teriyaki chicken and broccoli and some burgers. I did well this week overall. I even turned down pizza that I paid for! Like I've said in the past, call centers LOVE pitch-ins. And guess what? We had a V-Day pitch in! I knew I wouldn't be able to resist so I basically skipped breakfast (NOT RECOMMENDED) and saved all my calories for the day for the pitch-in! Technically, I am allowing myself one cheat day a week, buuuuuut I cheated Saturday too. Ryan and I's favorite thing to do for Valentine's Day is go to our favorite Italian restaurant in Indy, Maggiano's, and there's no way I was turning that down. So, I just did the same thing Saturday, reserved my calories for dinner! Other than those two days, I was super on point!



The Ultimate Cheat


Training/Cardio:


My lifts were consistent this week but not super intense. I work out on my lunch break most days because I have access to a small gym at my job, but it's hard to get in a solid lift and cardio in only an hour. I try to go 2-3 times a week to the actual gym when I have more time but this week I was so busy that I only made it on Sunday! I didn't get a chance to train abs a single time so that's going to have to be a priority this upcoming week.


I do have to congratulate myself on making cardio a priority this week! I got in 15 minutes of cardio every single day! Now that we're getting into crunch time, I'm going to have to start doing a little more.


Supplementation:


No change. I'm waiting to see what happens with this increase in cardio. Depending on how my body reacts, I may throw in something else at 5 weeks out.


Life:


Due to last week's tragedy, I had to buy a new car! I've never had a car payment before because my last car was gifted to me. I guess this just makes me an official adult! I have to give a big shoutout to my mother for co-signing with me, which got me a lower interest rate, and helping me out with the down payment! My momma and I can bicker like sisters sometimes but I can always depend on her to be there for me when I need her most!





You guys, especially if you know me well, will be impressed.. I didn't shed a single tear Tuesday when I took Aria to pre-school! She was so excited to explore with new toys and play with new kids. She's the only girl in her class and she's already obsessed with boys so we'll see how this goes haha. She had a party on her first day and parents were invited so my mom and I both went and were able to observe her in this new environment. Having rules and structure is definitely going to be difficult for her to get used to but I'm so excited to see how she matures! Thursday evening, Aria and I went on a little shopping trip while daddy played basketball. I got my hair done Saturday morning and then had a great time celebrating Valentine's Day that evening. We ate our favorite food and went to see another movie, Happy Death Day 2U. This has to be one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen. Seriously. But it was so stupid that it was hilarious! I love spending the weekends with all of my favorite people. I didn't meal prep but mainly because I'm waiting to receive my new plans. I did get caught up on laundry though! I achieved my cardio goal for the week but I definitely failed at getting to sleep at a good time every day so that's gonna be my goal again this week! I want to get to sleep by 10!
